THE SPACE
For its two-month residency at MUE Seoul, Gallery Dept. conceived its space as a fluid environment - weaving together a store, a workshop, and a cultural area into one seamless experience.
CAPSULE
To mark the residency, Gallery Dept. released SEOUL DEPT., an exclusive capsule collection available at MUE.
Bridging Seoul's creative energy with the brand's Los Angeles spirit, the capsule included three pieces: the Seoul Dept. Tee in vintage-washed white, the Seoul Dept. 90's Full Zip Hoodie in black, and the Seoul Dept. Hat featuring hand-painted details and an embroidered Seoul Dept. patch.
RETOUCHE WORKSHOP & ATK RECORDS
Two activations shaped the experience within the space. The Retouche Workshop offers a dedicated area for repair, alteration, and customization - treating garments as living objects shaped through personal intervention and expression.
Alongside it, ATK Records, curated by Josué Thomas in collaboration with Clique Records, presented a selection of new and vintage vinyls reflecting the music culture that inspires the brand - spanning electronic, jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and leftfield sounds.
